What Customers Are Saying

Sterling,

Just a note to tell you how much I appreciated the opportunity I had to take your pond building class through the university. I had no idea how much enjoyment I would get from my pond. I only wish I had met you years ago. I know that my project turned out much better than it would have, had I not taken the class. Your willingness to share the knowledge of years of experience saved me from making mistakes and costing me extra time and money on my on my pond.

I also greatly enjoyed seeing the hundreds of slides to glean ideas from, and to be able to see all of the different plants that are available in their natural, mature, blooming state. It’s so hard to know what a plant will look like when it’s sitting in a pot, in it’s infancy, in a nursery.

As you are aware, your class sparked my enthusiasm so much that I helped start the Utah Water Garden Society and have served as President for the past two years. The people that I’ve met as a result of this endeavor will be my friends for years to come. Thanks for helping my progression in this rewarding hobby, and for all the additional support and information you have given me at times when I’ve just “stopped in” at your greenhouse.

Sincerely,

Russ Ross, Pres. Utah Water Gardens Society Utah Water Garden Society

Dear Sterling,

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you again for your excellent seminar on Water Gardening. Without your guidance the beautiful pond and water garden, which is the highlight of my back yard, would not have been possible.

Your personal attention, showing me how to turn my ideas into reality, was invaluable. From the basic pond construction, bio filter and pump selection to what plants to use has turned my yard into a show place.

I would highly recommend your seminar to anyone who is considering a pond project. I am sure they will be as pleased as I am with the help they receive both during the seminar and in the years to follow.

Thanks again for everything.

Sincerely,

Dear Sterling,

I want you to know how much I have appreciated everything I have learned from you, not only during the Pond building class I took last year as part of my Horticulture degree from U.S.U., but personally when my husband and I have dropped into the store to purchase plants from you and your staff.

You have shared 50 years of ʻPonderingʼ with us on many occasions, and definitely helped to launch our completed pond feature last Summer. My husband Richard announced last May ʻI feel that this is the year we finish our pondʼ—knowing that we had all the important information at our fingertips to successfully achieve our goal!

We are fully converted ʻPonderersʼ now, and have become actively involved in the Utah Water Garden Club, making many new friendships. Our ponds and waterfall have turned our garden into a true sanctuary, and we take many opportunities to share our ʻElysianʼ with others.

Thank you once again,

Richard and Rosie Cobbley
